1. War Remnants Museum, Ho Chi Minh City

This is the evidence of Vietnam heroes in the war for independence.
The museum stores more than 20,000 documents, artifacts and films. Each year, it attracts about 500,000 tourists; makes it a cultural tourism site with timeless value.
2. Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, Hanoi
Ranked #6 on the list, the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology is praised by TripAdvisor as "the place where the people are recreated and history comes to life". The museum collects, preserves, restores, displays and introduces the value of history and culture of Vietnamese people. Inaugurated in November 1997, the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology is increasingly attracting a large amount of domestic and international tourists.
There are many cultural artifacts of the 54 ethnic groups of Vietnam, including 15,000 artifacts, 42,000 documentaries, colored photographs and thousands of other documents. With an exhibition area of nearly 2000m2 and system storage of more than 25,000 documents and artifacts, the museum reflects the contributions of Vietnamese women in history and in contemporary life.
The permanent exhibition of the Museum includes the following themes: women in the family, women in history, women fashion: tradition and modern. Vietnam Women's Museum is not only a place to study and keep the legacy of Vietnamese women but also a place to organize cultural exchange activities with international women.
