ITINERARY IN BRIEF

DAY 1: HANOI - HALONG CITY (D)
Pick-up at your hotel in Hanoi, transfer by landway to Halong. Check in the boat and Overnight in Halong Bay.

DAY 2: HANOI - HALONG BAY – TRAIN TO LAO CAI (B/L/D)
Discovery of Halong Bay by boat trip in the morning, back to Hanoi with stop at Sao Do for lunch, afternoon sightseeing in Hanoi. Overnight train to Lao Cai (sleeping compartment).

DAY 3: LAO CAI - BAC HA – BAN LIEN (B/L/D)
Pickup by car at Lao Cai, transfer to Bac Ha. Easy start with half-day trekking thru hill tribal villages and plum and peach forests. Overnight homestay with local people.

DAY 4: BAN LIEN – NA TRI – QUANG NGUYEN (B/L/D)
Full day trekking to enjoy interesting geographical changes of from earth mountains to rocky ones with sharp rocks. Overnight homestay with local people.

DAY 5: QUANG NGUYEN – HO THAU – NAM SON (B/L/D)
A hard day trek thru hill tribal villages to untouched areas of Northeast Vietnam. Overnight homestay with local people.

DAY 6: NAM SON – MOTORBIKE TAXI TO BAN NHUNG – TUNG SAN (B/L/D)
Trying an interesting motor taxi and enjoying greentea fields en route during the trek. Overnight homestay with local people.

DAY 7: TUNG SAN – THUONG SON – VI XUYEN HOT SPRING (B/L/D)
A hard day trek with ascending and descending roads to get over the elevation of 1,971m before heading to hot spring of mineral water. Overnight at hotel in Vi Xuyen.

DAY 8: VI XUYEN – HANOI (B)
An easy day transfer back to Hanoil.
End of services.
