Phan Thiet, an old
Cham outpost, renown for its large fishing fleet and is famous
for "nuoc mam", or fish sauce, the traditional and most popular
dipping sauce in Vietnam. The fishing village at Mui Ne is very
picturesque with its hundreds of multicolored boats.
There is also a
beach a few km to the east of the town. But the bigger draw is Mui
Ne Beach, 22km again to the east of the town. The road to Mui Ne is
stunning with sand dunes on the one side and a relatively unspoiled
beach on the other. Beautiful, majestic coconut trees are in
abundance on both sides of the road.

PHAN THIET.
Pick up at your
hotel in Saigon and leave by the landway to Phan Thiet. The scenic
220km drive north on Highway One passes through the bustling city of
Bien Hoa before cutting through dense rubber plantations. Nearer to
Phan Thiet the terrain changes to arid semi-desert with cactus
plants and strange-looking dragon fruit trees. Arrive in Phan Thiet
at noontime and check-in the resort. Overnight in Phan Thiet.
DAY 2 & 3: PHAN

At your leisure
in Phan Thiet.
DAY 4: PHAN THIET – SAIGON (B)
At your leisure till your drive come to pick up you back to
Saigon.

DAY 1: SAIGON -
PHU QUOC
Take a short flight to Phu Quoc, a sleepy tropical island in the
Gulf of Thailand, 45km south-west of the Vietnam. Ticket pick-up at
THREELAND TRAVEL. Welcomed and transferred to the resort upon
arrival. Phu Quoc's interior is still mostly covered in dense
tropical forest and its coastline is ringed with deserted sandy
beaches. There are two days free to enjoy this tropical hideaway.

DAY 2 & 3: PHU

At leisure to
enjoy Phu Quoc, you can book a tour or just relax for sunshine and
swimming. Overnight in Phu Quoc.
DAY 4: PHU QUOC-HO CHI MINH CITY (B)
At leisure until transferring to Phu Quoc Airport for the flight
to Saigon.
NOTE:
Phu Quoc's
rainy season is from July to November so it is best to avoid
visiting during this period.
