DAY 1: HANOI - HA LONG (L/D)
The tourguide of THREELAND will see you at your accommodation in Hanoi to drive
overland to
Halong City via Hai Phong. Take as
many stops as you like to enjoy the scenery of paddy fields, visit village
markets, visit the “green bean cake” town or taste some juicy lychee in Hai
Duong. Stroll around Haiphong Seaport and visit Du Hang pagoda before passing
Binh Ferry to Quang Ninh
province. Another
stop at Rung River (or Bach Dang River) Ferry will give you more
opportunity to learn about the history of Vietnam and also
intermingle with the Vietnamese in their hasty daily life. Arrive in
Halong at noon time. Check-in our boat and enjoy a fresh seafood
lunch on board. Visit Dau Go Cave, which is very much related to the
story of Rung River’s Ferry. Cruise on the bay and take many stops
as you like for swimming and kayaking. Enjoy the sunset on the sea
before having dinner. Overnight on the boat.
DAY 2: HA LONG BAY –
KAYAKING – CAT BA ISLAND (B/L)
Take the whole
morning for kayaking. Arrive in Cat Ba Island, which is belong to the territory
of Hai Phong Province, and check-in hotel. Afternoon visit the historical “Quan
Y” cave in Cat Ba, where used to be an army medical infirmary during the
wartime. Hike a little bit in Cat Ba National Park to approach “Kim Giao”
precious tree before back to the town of cat ba and enjoy late afternoon by
yourselves by swimming at three beaches in Cat Ba, or relaxing. Overnight at the
hotel in Cat Ba (dinner by your own account for more leisure time)
DAY 3: CAT BA ISLAND –
KAYAKING – HALONG BAY (B/L)
Check-in your boat again and back to Halong with stops to visit grottoes, enjoy
beaches or kayaking in another part of Halong. Arrive halong at noon time. Have
lunch at a restaurant in Halong city before back to Hanoi via Dong Trieu ceramic
town and Sao Do town. Arrive in Hanoi late afternoon.
