1. ITINERARY

Day 1: ARRIVE IN SAIGON (-/-/D)

Arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport (see Saigon). Transferred to hotel for check-in (maximum 15 minutes driving). Orientation tour of the city including stopping off at the Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office and visits to the Reunification Palace, Binh Tay market and Vinh Nghiem pagoda.  Dinner and O/N Saigon.

 

Day 2: SAIGON – TAY NINH – CU CHI TUNNELS (B/L/D)
Begin with a visit to Tayninh, the centre of Caodaism, a local sect of Buddhism founded by a Vietnamese countryman in early 20th century. Afternoon visit Cu Chi Tunnels, one of the few remaining monuments to the fierce Vietnam War, crawl a part of the tunnel to experience the real life of the Vietnamese guerrillas,. Overnight in Saigon.

 

Day 3: SAIGON – DALAT (B/L/D)
Take the flight to Dalat. Horse-cart trip to have orientation tour of Dalat. Visit Xuan Huong Lake and Truc Lam Temple. O/N Dalat.

 

Day 4: DALAT – NHA TRANG (B/L/D)
Morning visit Dalat and take the car to Nha Trang with stops for sightseeing at Ngoan Muc Pass and Cham tower. Relax at Nha Trang beach. O/N in Nha Trang

 

Day 5: NHA TRANG (B/L/D)
Nha Trang city tour with stopovers at Thap Cham Po Nagar and Long Son Pagoda. O/N Nha trang.

 

Day 6: NHA TRANG (B/L/-)
Whole day free at leisure for beach relax. O/N in Nha Trang.

 

Day 7: NHA TRANG – QUANG NGAI (B/L/D)
Drive along the coastlined to Quang Ngai. Early depart for Quang Ngai with stopovers at Dai Lanh Beach for swimming, Cham Ponagar and historical relics. Overnight in Quang Ngai

 

DAY 8: QUANG NGAI – MY LAI – HOI AN (B/L/D)
Overland from Quang Ngai to Hoi An ancient town with visit to My Lai Memorial and Cham tower.  Overnight in Hoi An 

 

Day 9: HOI AN (B/L/D)
Full-day visit Hoi An town, markets and ancient pagodas beach relax at Cua Dai. Overnight in Hoi An.

 

Day 10: HOI AN – HUE (B/L/D)
Transfer from Hoi An to Hue with many stopovers to visit the Marble Mountain, China Beach, Hai Van Pass and Lang Co Beach on the way. Hue half city tour with Royal Citadel and Museum, Forbidden city. Overnight in Hue.

 

Day 11: HUE – HANOI. (B/L/D)
Half day city tour to Tombs of King Nguyen in the suburb. andTake the flight Hue – Hanoi. Visit the Taoist Temple Quan Thanh and cyclo tour in the famous Old Quarter of Hanoi and take the night train to Sapa. Overnight on train

 

Day 12: LAO CAI - SAPA (B/L/D)

Whole day in Sapa mountain town, visit hill tribal villages. O/N in Sapa.

 

Day 13: SAPA - HILLTRIBAL MARKET - HANOI(B/L/D)

Short excursion to the villages of ethnic minority people and enjoy the hilltribal market. Terrace fields. Return to Hanoi by train. O/N on train.

 

Day 14: HANOI - HALONG – TRAIN TO LAOCAI (B/L/D)
Arrival in Hanoi, short trip to see morning Hano before heading to Halong, cruise Halong Bay, the world heritages then train to Sapa. Overnight on board.

 

Day 15: EXPLORING HANOI BY YOURSELVES (B/-/-)

Continue cruising in Halong bay before heading back to Hanoi with some stops en routes for photos. O/N in Hanoi.

4. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

 

Hotels

Twins-sharing room here is understood that you shall have two independent beds in a room. Certainly, you would must share your room with other people and it is perfect if you have in advance a travel mate whom you share the room with. Single supplement also available and please email us at contact@threeland.com for further  information

Basically, the accommodation offered with tours will be Superior, First Class or better consistent with classifications. . The room is equipped by air-conditioned, hot shower, Satellite TV, minibar, Tel. Hotel facilities includes of swimming pool, bar, restaurant, money exchange, Internet cabin, sauna and massage...Please note that it is standard policy that hotel rooms are not available for check-in before 2 p.m. Single rooms are often smaller than twin rooms. Triple rooms may not be available and consist of a rollaway bed or cot in a twin room, and may not be comfortable for three adults.

MEALS

At each tour, we include the meals within the quotation offered. B means Breakfast, L means Lunch and D means Dinner. 7 US$ / full board means you could have dinner (or lunch) at the restaurant with 7 US$ / person. A 7US$ menu covers around 6-8 dishes and dessert. Vietnamese traditional, Western style, seafood or others will be served based on the customer needs or destination you visit

 

LAND TRANSFER

The vehicle type varies depended on the quantity of travelers. 4-seat car will serve 1 or 2 customers, 12-seat minibus will serve the group up to 6 people, 24-seat bus will serve the group up to 14 people, 35-seat bus will serve the group up to 20 people while 45-seat coach will serve the group up to 25 people. The remaining free seats of each vehicle will keep free for a " large-space" feeling for travelers. Sometimes, the seats will be used for luggage transporting. 

About quality of the vehicle, we shall always use a modern one for your transportation. The manufacturing date of each vehicle should be around 2005 - 2006. Hereunder is some example of our vehicle team

 

DOMESTIC AIR TICKET

Our domestic tickets are served by Vietnam Airline. Vietnam Airline's aircraft include: Airbus 320, Airbus 321, , Airbus 330 , Boeing 777, Boeing 767 for the long flight ( Hanoi - Sai Gon and vice versa, Hanoi - Hue/Danang and vice versa, Sai Gon - Hue/Danang and vice versa ), while Fokker and ATR 72 will be taken for the shorter route ( Sai Gon - Phu Quoc, Hanoi - Dien Bien, Sai Gon - Nha Trang, Hanoi - Nha Trang... ). Your ticket are basically economy class. Special booking ( business class, private helicopter... ) will be informed in advance and we will discuss about the quotation.

BOAT TRIP

Boat trip  used within water place. Hereunder is some details about your boat trips:

Boat trip in Halong

A boat usually were build up with two floors, the first is a large room where you will have your beautiful lunch/dinner or you could relax by yourself, while the second one is similar to the "balcony" where you could take the sunbath,  enjoy the fresh air and let your eyes stretch toward the horizon. 

Each wooden - made boat will be equipped with an engine and sail. Depend on the quantity of guests, a boat contains the group from 8 to 30 people. Lunch/dinner with fresh seafood could be served on board. 

Boat trip in Tam Coc and Perfume Pagoda

Rowing boat along the stream in Tam Coc and Perfume Pagoda will bring you a new and interesting feeling. Each boat just contains 3-4 people, rowed by a person who living and growing in local place. Chance of exchange information, studying the activities and life of local inhabitants

Boat trip in Hue 

The river runs along the mountains and tourists could enjoy the scenery. Side by side, villages, fishing boat, then onto some tombs of Vietnamese kings. Very enjoyable and interesting.

Boat trip in Mekong Deta

To visit Mekong Delta, tourists must use the boat running along rivers. Enjoy the scenery of wonderful nature, visit the fruit and flower garden, floating market, bustling life of the "river" people, this is what a boat trip could show you

ENGLISH/FRENCH SPEAKING GUIDE

There are two major foreign languages that most tourists require when travelling to Vietnam: English and French. At each tour, depend on guest's requirement, we will send the English or French speaking guide to serve them. In some special cases with Italian, Spanish, Japanese, German, Korean, Russian..., we shall must know in advance and this arrangement will quote you a little bit higher than the original quotation. ADMISSION FEES FOR ALL TOURIST PLACES

. At each tourist place, we must pay the entrance fee and depend on the property of the destination, the entrance will vary from some US cents to several US$. Normally, we shall include entrance within the quotation. 

 

Gratuities

Gratuities are not obligatory in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia, however, if you meet with exceptional services or kindness, a tip is always appreciated. A tip for good service might be about 5% of the bill.

Baggage

Airline baggage allowance regulations are based on a weight and measurement system. Combined overall dimensions for checked baggage can not exceed 106 inches. Carry-on luggage cannot exceed 45 inches. For flights within continents baggage is limited to 44 lbs. (20 kilos). One bag not to exceed 106 inches may be taken on escorted programs. For additional bags, there will be an additional charge of approximately $3 per bag per handling

 

 

5. TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

 

Settlement of Accounts and PAYMENT

Client’s payment shall be settled by telegraphic transfer, by cash, credit cards or travelers cheques. Except for cash payment, a service charge may apply. In case the credit facilities have been agreed with the Client/Agent, payment shall be settled by swift or telegraphic transfer to the appropriate THREELAND TRAVEL bank account. Any bank charges levied by the sending bank relating to transfers to THREELAND TRAVEL must be paid by the Client/Agent.

 

RESERVATION / DEPOSIT / FULL PAYMENT/confirmation

A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total package price is required to request and confirm your reservations. Final payment of the tour price must be made 15 days prior to client's arrival in Vietnam or starting date of the tour, or otherwise THREELAND TRAVEL may at their sole discretion cancel the bookings without any refund of sums already paid to THREELAND TRAVEL by the Client/Agent.

 

RATES/VALIDITY

All prices quoted to the Client/Agent are on a net basis and in American Dollars at current rate of exchange and valid until October 31, 2008. THREELAND TRAVEL warrants that the prices or rates quoted to the Client/Agent are correct at the time of issuance of the Client's/Agent's quotation and/or invoice but are subject to change in line with market, tax or currency fluctuation, with or without prior notice.

CHILDREN POLICY

Children between 2 and 12 years of age are granted a 25% discount on transfers, excursions and package tours provided on the condition that they share the room with two adults without an extra-bed. The discount is reduced to 15% if they require an extra-bed. These discounts are granted for one child per room only. Children requiring their own rooms are charged as adults, but will be granted a 30% discount on applicable airfares.

CANCELLATIONS

For cancellations of confirmed arrangements, while a Client/Agent loses its deposit as mentioned above, charges for cancellation of bookings are not levied by THREELAND TRAVEL but if hotels, carriers and other contractors apply charges for cancellation, the Client/Agent shall be liable to pay those charges to THREELAND TRAVEL or to the concerned parties directly as the case may be.

For NO-SHOWS, there will be no refunds. All cancellation must be in writing and received by THREELAND TRAVEL.

No refunds or exchanges can be made in respect of accommodation, meals, sightseeing tours, transport or any other services which are included in the tour prices but not utilized by the tour member.

 

AMENDMENT SERVICE CHARGES

A service charge of $25 will be implemented for ANY changes to the booking once the reservation is confirmed. Once documentations are issued, any changes thereafter will be $50 per change and for re-issuance of any vouchers. Additional charges for the re-issuance of air tickets will be  applied.

When dates are changed on these packages, prices may vary depending on the day of travel and airline class of service booked, which is determined by airline seat availability. All prices are subject to change without notice.

Note: THE AMENDMENT SERVICE CHARGES STATED ABOVE ARE IN ADDITION TO THE APPLICABLE CANCELLATION CHARGES.

 

Refunds

All requests for refunds will be considered promptly, but they must be in writing and received within 30 days of the return date of the tour. Certain unused tour features are not refundable.

 

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

It is the responsibility of individual travelers to see that proper documentation is obtained in advance of the trip. Each passenger must be in possession of a valid passport which must be valid for more than 6 months AFTER the return date of travel. Passport number, date and place of issue, and birth date is now required by airlines and trains, and may be required to confirm services. Names on your airline tickets must match the first and last name listed on your passport.

Visa requirements must be met for travel to certain countries. Visa requirements vary according to your nationality. To avoid time consuming, Threeland Travel recommends you obtain your required visas on arrival. Please check our visa-on-arrival services. You may also make your own visa arrangements directly with the embassy / consulate of Vietnam in your country.
