BRIEF itinerary
DAY 1: LUANG
PRABANG (D)
Welcome to Laos. Short city tour to
stupa and pagoda. Enjoy the sunset on Mekong river. Overnight in
Luang Prabang.
DAY 2: LUANG PRABANG
PAK OU - LUANG PRABANG (B/L)
Cruise along the Mekong river to Pakou
cave with some stops at villages. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
DAY 3. LUANG PRABANG
KHOUANGSI WATER FALL VILLAGES - LUANG PRABANG (B/L)
Visit morming market before heading to
visit local villages of Lao ethnic minority and to the
beautiful Khouangsi Waterfall. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
DAY 4. LUANG PRABANG
HANOI (B/D)
Short visit to nationatl Museum and
Royal Place ( if time permits ) and flight to Hanoi. Welcome to Vietnam! City tour
to Old quarter, the Sword Lake, cyclo around the town and water
puppetry performance. Overnight in Hanoi.
DAY 5: HANOI -
HALONG BAY TRAIN TO LAO CAI (B/L/D)
Early depart for Halong Bay, a World Heritage as designated by
UNESCO in 1994, take a boat trip for about 5 hours to cruise Halong
bay. Lunch of fresh seafood Late afternoon back to Hanoi for
a night train to Lao Cai. Overnight on the Train.
DAY 6: VISIT
SAPA (B/L)
Whole day in Sapa mountain town, visit
hill tribal villages. Overnight in Sapa.
DAY 7: A COLOURFUL WEEKLY MARKET IN BACHA
SURROUNDINGS LAOCAI (B/L/D)
Today should be Saturday, Sunday or Tuesday.
Enjoy the most
exciting weekly market of the hill tribes living surrounding Sapa.
Alternatives are Can Cau market on Saturday, Bac Ha market on Sunday
or Coc Ly market on Tuesday, take a boat on Chay river (during Coc
Ly market only). Take the night Train to Hanoi and overnight on the
Train. (lunch at the market; dinner in Laocai)
DAY 8: HANOI
SAIGON (B/D)
Arrive Hanoi.
Have a circle surrounding Hoan Kiem Lake to watch the morning
exercises of the Hanoians. Visit the Mausoleum and House of Ho Chi
Minh and flght to Saigon. Saigon short ciyt rou with Reunification
Palace, the Notre Dame Cathedral, Post Office, China Town with Cho
Lon (Big market) and Thien Hau Temple of the Chinese community.
Overnight in Saigon.
DAY 9. TAY NINH
HOLYSEE CU CHI TUNNEL (B/L)
Visit to Tayninh,
the centre of Caodaism and Cu Chi Tunnels, one of the few remaining
monuments to the fierce Vietnam War, chance to experience the real
life of the Vietnamese guerrillas. Overnight in Saigon.
DAY 10: SAIGON
SIEMREAP ANGKOR THOM (B/D)
At leisure and
flight to Siemreap. Short excursion to Angkor Thom and Bayon temple,
the must to see in Cambodia.
Overnight in Siemreap.
DAY 11: ANGKOR WAT AND OTHER FAMOUS TEMPLES SIEMREAP (B/L)
Whole day
discover the real Angkor with many temples inside the jungles.
Overnight in Siemreap.
DAY 12: SIEMREAP - BANTEAY SREY - SIEMREAP (B/L)
Explore the un-touched corners of Angkor. Overnigh in
Siemreap.
DAY 13: SIEMREAP DEPARTURE (B)
