ITINERARY IN BRIEF

DAY 01. ARRIVAL - LUANG PRABANG
On arrival at Luang Prabang we visit stupa of Wat Visoun, the shrine of Wat Aham, Wat Mai. Then climb up to Phousi mountain, explore the night market. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

DAY 02. LUANG PRABANG - PAKOU - LUANG PRABANG (B/-/-)
Get starting at Wat Sene and Wat XiengThong temple, and take boat trip to explore Pak Ou caves, stop at village of rice wine produce and hand weaving. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

DAY 03. LUANG PRABANG – KHOUANGSI WATERFALLS (B/-/-)
Join in the morning Phousi Market, walk around villages of Lao ethnic minority groups and leisure time at Khouangsi Waterfall. Visit the weaving village. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

DAY 04. LUANG PRABANG – XIENGKHOUANG (Road) (B/L/-)
Visit the National museum then drive to Xiengkhuang visit the Plain of Jars, the old capital of Muang Khoun province and the nearby villages. Overnight in Xiengkhuang.

DAY 05. XIENGKHOUANG – VIENTIANE (Flight) (B/-/-)
Taking light to Vientiane. visit the Lao-Thai Friendship bridge and the Buddha park. Enjoy sunset over the Mekong river. Overnight in Vientiane.

DAY 06. VIENTIANE - CITY TOUR (B/-/-)
Whole day city tour with the old temples, That Luang Stupa, Patuxay monument. Visit Vientiane central market and enjoy sunset on Mekong River. Overnight in Vientiane.

DAY 07. VIENTIANE – PAKSE – KHONG ISLAND (Flight) (B/-/-)
Flight to Pakse and overland to Champassak to visit Wat Phu temple. Cruise boat to Don Khong Islands for overnight.

DAY 08. KHONG ISLAND – SURROUNDING (Boat) (B/-/-)
Discover islands by boat, explore the waterfalls and local villages. Overnight in Khong Island.

DAY 09. KHONG ISLAND - TADLO – PAKSE (B/-/-)
Overland through Boloven plateau with coffee, tea, cardamom, bananas-Visit the villages of ethnic minority groups and Tadlo waterfall. Overnight in Pakse.

DAY10. PAKSE – DEPARTURE (B/-/-)
Free time till catching flight to Siem Reap ( Cambodia ) or drive overland to Ubon Rathani - Thailand via Chongmek International checkpoint. End of services.

Notes

• Road from Luang Prabang to Xiengkhouang is zigzag, in case of you are allergies in crisscross driving, medicine is possibly required. The journey takes us around 6-7hrs driving.
• Cruising on Mekong river in southern Laos around Khong Island is provided by long tail boat
• The border between Laos-Thailand is normally operated 06:00pm-04:00pm
