ITINERARY IN BRIEF

DAY 1: ARRIVE IN HANOI (-/-/D)

Welcome at Hanoi airport and transfer to the city. Take an orientation tour passing Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, the Temple of Literature. Cyclo tour. Evening Water Puppet Show. Overnight in Hanoi. 

DAY 2: HANOI - HALONG – OVERNIGHT ON THE BOAT (B/L/D)

Transfer to Halong with stop in  Dong Trieu, a ceramic village. Take a cruise trip on the Bay. Stopover for swimming, visiting grottoes, kayaking. Seafood meals served on board. Overnight on board.

DAY 3: HALONG - HANOI – FLY TO SAIGON (B/L)

Enjoy beautiful lanscape of Halong bay before transfer to Hanoi for flight to Saigon. Welcomed in Saigon. Visit the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Post Office, China Town and temples. Overnight in Saigon.

DAY 4. TAY NINH HOLYSEE – CU CHI TUNNEL (B/L)

Visit Tayninh, centre of Caodaism, a local sect of Buddhism. Join midday ceremony at Tay Ninh Holysee. Back to Saigon with stop at Cu Chi Tunnels, a monument of the Vietnam War. Overnight in Saigon.

DAY 5: SAIGON – EMBARKATION ON MEKONG CRUISE RV LA MARGUERITE (B/L/D)
Transfer to pier to board luxury cruise “La Marguerite”. Enjoy the first day of cruising on Mekong river. Dinner and overnight on board.

DAY 6: CAI BE FLOATING MARKET (B/L/D)

Visit Cai Be floating market, enjoying trading activities of fruits and farming products. Visit family factories and orchards. Overnight on board.

DAY 7: SADEC - TAN CHAU (B/L/D)

Short city tour in Sadec to the old house of Marguerite Duras, the writer of famous Novel “The Lover” (L’amant), local markets, ancient pagodas and Chinese temple. Dinner and overnight on board.

DAY 8: TAN CHAU - BORDER CROSSING (B/L/D)

Visit fishing floating farms on Mekong river. Cyclo tour to local factories of handicrafts. Cross border to Cambodia. Dinner and overnight on board.

DAY 9: PHNOM PENH (B/L/D)

Get-off the cruise for full day city tour in Phnompenh including with National Fine-Arts Museum, Silver pagoda, Royal Palace, Central market, Killing Field and Toul Sleng Museum. Back to the boat. Dinner and overnight on board.

DAY 10: KAMPONG CHAM (B/L/D)

Get off for Kampongcham city tour to the farms and forests of timbers, Ceylon ironwood, rosewood, bean, teak and rubber trees. Visit 12^th century Angkorian temple and Cheung Kok Eco village. Overnight on board.

DAY 11: TONLE RIVER - KAMPONG CHHNANG - TONLE LAKE (B/L/D)

Full day discover Tonle Lake with stops at floating villages. Enjoy sunset and dinner on board. Overnight on board.  

DAY 12: SIEMREAP – ANGKOR THOM (B/-/D)

Disembark from Mekong cruise to Siemreap, visit Angkor Thom including Bayon, Elephant Terrace and Terrace of the Leper King. Sunset watching at Phnom Bakheng. Dinner with Apsara show. Overnight in Siemreap.

DAY 13: ANGKOR WAT AND OTHER FAMOUS TEMPLES – SIEMREAP (B/L)

Full day discover Angkor including Ta Prohm, Takeo, Thommanon, Chau Say Tevoda temples, Sra Srang natural lake. Afternoon visiting Angkor Wat. Back to Siemreap for dinner and overnight.

DAY 14: SIEMREAP - BANTEAY SREY - SIEMREAP (B/L)

Last day at Angkor with Banteay Srey Temple, Kbal Spean (the river of thousand Lingas) and walking in forest. Return to Siemreap for overnight.

DAY 15: SIEMREAP DEPARTURE (B)

At leisure before transfer to airport for departure flight. End of services.
