ITINERARY IN DETAIL
Using the name Bassac of a steaming boat ran on the Mekong river a century ago, the current Bassac cruises are three elegant vessels, made of wood as per the tradition of the rice barges of the Mekong delta, but matching international standards of services. All the cabins are air-conditioned, with en-suite bathrooms, sound-proof partitions, and double-glazed windows to protect the passengers' sleep from the noise of the river or of the boat's equipment. The cabins are also scented by Laurent Séverac, the perfumer in Hanoi. The galley is suitable to serve refined meals and uphold the best sanitary standards, even for very big groups. The passengers can enjoy their privacy on board, since the layout allows the crew to be discreet and offers several living areas so that different groups may enjoy the journey by their own. Wide access to the outside retaining the capability to serve the guests well, even in bad weather, guarantees a good experience of the Mekong delta.
