ITINERARY IN DETAIL

Threeland travel offers 4 different cruises for 2 day Halong trip. Each cruise has their own route in the bay and has different styles of room, facilities and services.

INDOCHINA SAILS  

With more than 10-years experience in tourism, Indochina Sails always offer luxury cruise services in Halong Bay. The cruises’ capacities varied from 5-rooms luxury small vessel to the large ones with 15-20 comfortable rooms.  Cruises are custom-built wooden with sophisticated Asian décor, elegant restaurant, bars, sundecks, and massage rooms.

The cruise also offers full-service Vietnamese traditional spa, Canadian-made seaward kayaks and snorkeling equipment. Sunset Bars on the top of the junks have spacious lounge areas which are perfect to isolate yourselves or for morning Tai-chi quan classes, weekend BBQ and sunset cocktail. Food served with Vietnamese and International cuisines.

The rooms are spacious with seaview windows. To complement the bay’s natural beauty, the designers have outfitted all the rooms with natural materials: wood floors covered with sedge mats, walls covered with woven bamboo panels,  and ceilings decorated with bamboo panels hand-painted with a ginger motif. The standing shower, meanwhile, features mosaic tiles in Orchid flower patterns. On the top luxury cruise, each room possesses a jacuzzi.

INDOCHINA SAILS - HALONG 3-day Cruise

DAY 1. ARRIVE AND CRUISE IN HALONG (L/D)

Leaving Hanoi for Halong and transfer by tender to the Indochina Sails cruise. Enjoy welcome drink. Receive cruise briefing and check-in. Having a deluxe lunch with Vietnamese and International set menu. In the afternoon you will visit Titop Island. Enjoy swimming, relaxing on the beach and climbing up to the top of the mountain on the island for fantastic views and photo opportunities. We will spend about 45 minutes on the island (water and towels supplied by the crew), then back to the boat and sail for another 45 minutes to our second destination - the Bat Cave area. There are two programs to choose at this time: 1^st is 40-minute kayaking to the nearby Bat Cave and lagoon and surrounding area, and 2^nd - visiting the largest floating fishing village in Halong Bay. We will travel to the village by our tender and stopover here approximately 20 minutes. Overnight at Luon Bo area. A deluxe dinner will be served with Vietnamese and International buffet. Evening activities include film entertainment in the dining room around 9.15pm, board games and playing cards are available, massage services, happy hour with buy one - get one drink will be provided by the crew., etc. Overnight on board.

DAY 2: FULL DAY CRUISE – DISCOVER HALONG (B, L, D)

Coffee, tea and breakfast pastries will be served in the dining room in the early morning. Arrive at a small fishing village. If you wake up early, join a tai-chi quan instruction on the sundeck at 07.00am for about 30 minutes. Enjoy breakfast on board. Transfer by tender to our  “Day Boat” and begin to cruise to some of Halong Bay’s more secluded and untouched vicinity. Enjoy a leisure day of kayaking and swimming. A multi-course lunch will be served at mid-day. Return by tender to the Indochina Sails boat and overnight at Luon Bo area. Dinner served with Vietnamese & Western buffet or set menu. Join evening activities. Overnight on board. 

DAY 3: CRUISING HALONG – BACK TO THE WHARF (B)

Coffee, tea and breakfast pastries will be served in the dining room in the early morning. Transfer by tender to the Surprise Cave and walk up its 100 steps to the entrance to visit one of the most famous cave in Halong, whose beauty is amazing enough to name it as “the surprising cave”. After the visit (around an hour or less) we will return to the boat to freshen and check-out. (Heavy luggage to be left outside our cabins for the staff gathering to the pier). Depart for Bai Chay - Halong Wharf. At 09.30 our brunch will be served and we can relax and enjoy the bay scenery until we approach the whaf. Transfer to Hanoi by air-con vehicle.  Ends of services.

GINGER  

Ginger is a three-deck junk with elegant restaurant, lounge, two bars, a small boutique, library and ten luxurious sleeping cabins. Launched in mid 2006, the wooden junk have combined classic beauty with modern comfort. Rooms are spacious, luxurious and have panoramic windows.

Spacious sundeck is the hightlight of Ginger. Guests can have absolute relaxation here while reading on wide chairs with light breeze and spectacular bayview, or contemplate our own time at the cozy bar for a glass of champagne. Foods are delicious and the staff are very attentive and cool.

HALONG GINGER  3-day Cruise

DAY 1: ARRIVE AND CRUISE IN HALONG (B/L/D)

Different from others, the Halong Ginger boat offers an unforgettable ambiance of elegance. During three days we can explore three exotic bays: Bai Tu Long, Lan Ha and Halong bay, with exclusively different routes.
Upon arrival in Halong City, pick-up at the wharf around 12.30 and welcome on board at Halong Ginger. Sail to the magical Bai Tu Long Bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands risen from the wave like dragon’s teeth. Afternoon take a short trek to an island summit (usually Titop island) for a panoramic view of the bay, dotted with Halong Ginger golden sails. Go swimming on a quiet beach or enjoy sunbathing on the sundeck. Later afternoon, we will visit an interesting fishing village with opportunity to mingle with the fishmen, who have been living in the bay for generations. Kayak at sunset time, or simply take a bamboo rowing boat to discover a water tunnel (usually at Hang Doi and Hang Toi), with many coral reefs in a scenic lagoon. Back to the boat of Halong Ginger, enjoy cocktail while watching sunset, and relax later at Ginger restaurant for dinner. Overnight on board when boat anchors on the area between Lan Ha Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay.

DAY 2: CRUISING HALONG AND BAI TU LONG BAY (B/L/D)

After breakfast, we will weigh anchor and have a morning taichi-quan exercise. Continue to discover the Bay at most untouched areas near Cong Dong and Cong Do. Transfer to a smaller pretty boat to approach the islands closer for kayaking and swimming. We can choose to go swimming, kayaking, relaxing at quiet beaches, or visiting fishing villages. Delicious lunch served on board by our private chef. Return to the mother boat for the night. Dinner and overnight between Lan Ha Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay.

DAY 3: BACK TO THE WHARF (B)

Have another morning taichi-quan exercise when enjoying the sunrise over the bay. If the Bay is not clear enough in the morning or has light rain, a Cooking class will be another option arranged by the crew. After breakfast, visit beautiful limestone grottoes that are plenty in Halong and Bai Tu Long Bay, then back to the boat for a final glimpse of the Halong Bay while cruising back to the wharf at 11.00.

POISEDON 

A new guy to Halong, but quite worthy to consider if you prefer a deluxe option with competitive price. Poseidon Sail, an old-styled wooden junk with modern Vietnamese design, will provide you very comfortable amenities and services.

The large 200m² sundeck is ideal for any activity like sunbathing with panoramic view, barbecue, theme parties or fun games. The other specious deck for the Suites are decorated with Bat Trang ceramic artworks and Van Phuc silk.

Rooms are equipped with wooden interior, comfortable bed, minibar, air-conditioners and en-suite bathroom. Restaurant and bar are cozy and have great seaview. Foods are Vietnamese cuisines with different menus.

POISENDON  HALONG 3-days Cruise

DAY 1. ARRIVE AND CRUISE IN HALONG. (L/D)

Pick-up at your hotel and depart to Ha long Bay. Enjoy a welcome drink on board. A seafood lunch will be served on board while we cruise on the emerald water between limestone outcrops and long corridors. We will have chances to sightsee many beauty spots of this World Natural Heritage including Fighting Cock islets, Incense Urn islet, Finger island, Toad islet, Dog islet, Dragon rock and many other strange-shaped islands. We will specially cruise to explore the mystery of Sung Sot Cave (the cave of Surprise), and stop at Titop beach for swimming (if weather favorable). Here we will climb up to the top of Titop for a spectacular view to the bay, or go kayaking in the neighborhood of Titov before having dinner in the romantic sunset. After enjoying this fresh seafood dinner, in very light nights we can take part in a cuttlefish contest, or join some activities organized on the boat like dancing or karaoke., etc. Spend a quiet night on Halong Poseidon Sails.

DAY 2: FULL DAY CRUISE – CAT BA ISLAND (B, L, D)

If you like enjoying Ha Long Bay's sunrise, get up early before 6am. After a tasty breakfast and hot coffee, we will cruise to Cat Ba Island. Our bus will go thru the National Park, home of 32 different types of mammals and more than 2,000 species of flora. Take a short trek through the forest and climb up Ngu Lam mountain. From the peak of the mountain we can see the whole landscape of Cat Ba Island. 

The guide will take us back to our hotel for check-in and lunch. In the afternoon we will visit to Lan Ha bay by boat for kayaking to discover natural scenery of the Monkey Island and surrounding. Stop at Monkey Island beach for swimming. Enjoy the night time in Cat Bat town. Dinner and overnight in Cat Bat island.

DAY 3: CRUISING HALONG – BACK TO THE WHARF (B)

Get up early if you want to go for a walk or swimming at Cat Co Beach. Breakfast served at your hotel before we  leave Cat Ba island for Ha Long City. On the way back we'll have a chance to enjoy more attractions of Ha Long Bay with Ga Choi, Dinh Huong, Co Don, Cho Da islets. Arrive in Ha Long city at noon time. Have lunch at restaurant and come back to Hanoi with stopover in Hai Duong province. Arrive in Hanoi around 6pm. End of services.

BAI THO

One of the biggest vessels in Halong bay, Bai Tho cruises, offer a wide range of cruising products with interesting routes to rarely-visited beaches, islands and fishing villages. With the huge capacity of 37 cruises and 188 cabins, Bai Tho are recommended for day cruising, 2-3 days overnight trips and preferable for vacation and leisure.

The cruises are well-equipped, with modern facilities and cozy atmosphere. Rooms are well-decorated with wooden floors, bay view windows, hot shower and Air-conditioners.

BAI THO  HALONG 3-day Cruise

DAY 1. ARRIVE AND CRUISE IN HALONG. (L/D)

Pick-up at your hotel in Hanoi and depart for Halong. Check-in Bai Tho deluxe boat with welcome drink and programme introduction. Start the cruise, passing the top views of Ha Long such as the Dog rock, Cock-Fighting islets, Incense Burner rock, Thien Cung and Dau Go Cave., etc. Lunch served with local cuisine. Explore the Surprising cave – one of the most famous ones in Ha Long Bay before a small boat takes you to Titop island. We can climb here up to 200-metre peak to contemplate a wonderful view of the bay, or just relax and go swimming at Titop beach. Return to our cruise for leisure during the sunset on the bay. Dinner on board with fresh seafood (set menu). Free at your leisure or joining fish catching by rods., etc. overnight on Bai Tho boat. 

DAY 2: FULL DAY CRUISE IN HALONG BAY (B, L, D)

Enjoy sunrise on the Bay or go swimming and continue cruising. Breakfast will be served with cakes and coffee. Visit and explore the beach of “three peaches” by small boat for swimming and kayaking. Return to the cruise for relaxation and lunch (set menu). Afternoon we will visit Cua Van fishing village and stop here for overnight. Dinner and enjoy our second night on board enjoying your own time or attending the squid fishing with the crew (if weather is favourable).

DAY 3: CRUISING HALONG – BACK TO THE WHARF (B)

See sunrise on the Bay or go swimming. The boat will cruise on whilst our bereakfast and coffer are served. Visit Luon Cave by boat or kayaks. Finally, we will check-out and enjoy a brunch on the way back to the Wharf. Picked-up by our car and transfered to Hanoi.
