Hanoi to be The World’s Cheapest City for Tourists by Trip-Advisor
Hanoi – Vietnam’s capital – has stood out of the surveyed cities from 48 countries to be rated as the cheapest destination for travelers in summer 2012, according to the US prestigious website Trip Advisor.
Hanoi has
been rated as the cheapest destination for travelers in
summer 2012 (from 1 June to 31 August), which receive the
largest number of visitors in the world. It can be easily
seen that tourists come to visit Hanoi because of not only

time-saving travel and helpful services.
The criteria
for ranking (Trip Index) is based on the combined costs for
two people touring and staying one night at a four-star
hotel, cocktails at a five-star hotel, a two-course dinner
with a bottle of wine, and 2-mile long taxi fares. According
to the statistics, Asia has four cities among the top five
cheapest localities, including Hanoi (US$141.12), Beijing
(US$159.05), Bangkok (US$161.90), and Kuala Lumpur
(US$194.43); while European cities are the most expensive
with London staying atop (US$518.01).
This ranking indicates that Hanoi is suitable for almost all
classes of visitors, from budget traveling to deluxe
staying. There will definitely be no better choice than a
