More flights from Vietnam to Taiwan and China offered by
Vietnam Airline
 Response to the guests’ needs, Vietnam airline decided to
launch new route between Mekong River Delta and Taiwan (Taipei, Gao
Xiong, and Tai Zhong). Thirteen direct flights from Can Tho city
(Vietnam) - to Taipei city (Taiwan) vice versa will be operated for
the lunar New Year 2011.
The flights are run on December 29, 2010, and January 12, 19, 21,
29, 30, and February 5, 7, 9, 12, 2011. This is the second time
Vietnam airline organized the flights from Can Tho to Taiwan and
vice versa with a four-fold, increase in the number of flights from
2009.
Vietnam Airlines has also officially launched a new flight between
Ho Chi Minh City and Beijing, China. The first flight VN902 departed
at 5.40pm on December 16 and the return VN903 at 1.30am on December
17. Flight duration is about 5 hours with three flights on Monday,
Thursday, and Sunday by Airbus 321 aircraft- 184 seats Mrs. Nguyen
Thi Minh Yen, Director of Southern Region of the National Airlines
of Vietnam said that this new air route would help Vietnam Airlines
to perfect its networks to a potential market such as China, as well
as diversifying the services, improving its competitiveness.
Moreover, this schedule is not only suitable for the passengers, but
also for connecting – flight from China to the Central of Vietnam,
ASEAN and Australia.
With the launch of the flights, Vietnam Airlines became the first
airline operating a non-stop air-route between Ho Chi Minh City and
Beijing. So far, the carrier now operates seven flights to four
cities of China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and
Kunming.
