Co-operation between Vietnam Airline and Moscow’s airport and Russian Airline
 

Vietnam Airlines and the Domodedovo international airport in Moscow held a meeting in Moscow to announce an increase in Vietnam Airline’s flights to the airport and the results of their cooperation on 17th November.

Vietnam Airline now launches three flights per week from Moscow to Ho Chi Minh City route on Monday, Thursday and Sunday and two flights a week from Moscow to Hanoi on Wednesday and Saturday. The airline plans to increase the number of weekly flights from Moscow to Vietnam into seven in 2011. In the other hand, Vladivostok Air, the largest carrier in the Russian Far East, has launched two new routes from Vladivostok and Khabarovsk to Cam Ranh -- a town not far from the famous resort city of Nha Trang. The first flight landed at Cam Ranh International Airport in the central province of Khanh Hoa on 15th December.

Meanwhile, two similar flights were launched between Khabarov and Cam Ranh a day later.
14 flights with two flights every two weeks will be operated on the two routes, from mid-December to March. The routes are operated in the period sharp winter comes to the Far East. It turns out to be a good choice for the Russian tourists look for an escape and enjoy a wonderful warm weather in Khanh Hoa- where there are a lot of attractive hotels and resorts. Nearly 10 luxury hotels and resorts in Nha Trang have also agreed to reduce the prices by between 20-50 percent for Russian tourists flying to the town on the new routes. Cam Ranh Airport became an international airport in December 2009 and has recorded an average annual passenger growth rate of 21 percent, the highest in Vietnam.
