More flights
from Hanoi to Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok to be added by
Vietnam Airlines
 From
June 16th, the national carrier Vietnam Airlines started
none – stop flights from Hanoi to Kuala Lumpur, using Airbus
A321 aircraft. Total in a week, there are 21 direct flights
from Vietnam to Malaysia (1 daily flight from Hanoi and 2
from Ho Chi Minh City).
Vietnam Airlines also increased the frequency on two other
Asian routes to Singapore and Bangkok. Flights between Hanoi
and Singapore are getting up to 11 per week from the current
seven. Besides, the company double the number of flight in
the route: Hanoi - Bangkok to 14 times weekly.
As stated at our previous newsletter, Vietnam Airlines also
plans to launch the direct route to London from Hanoi and Ho
Chi Minh City with four flights per week by the end of this
year and things are at the final steps. With the launching
of the new services, Vietnam Airlines has expanded its
network to 37 domestic routes and 45 international routes,
try to become big player in the region.
