Mekke Chandra, based in Jakarta, with her 3 friends, took our 17 days Vietnam - Cambodia tours in Dec 2004

Hi Miss Vu,
Sorry for just reply your email. I guess you must be wondering where have  we  been after the trip. :)  We are fine here. Thanks for asking. We hope you are fine as well.
The following is our comments for Vietnam and Cambodia tour.
 

VIET NAM PORTION
1. How about the programs
Vietnam is an interesting country. We enjoy our trip in vietnam in hoian, hue city but the most interesting is in in Hanoi, Saigon and the most we like is Halong Bay. We feel Halong Bay is the most interesting part  cruise  along the halong bay and the view of thousands of mountains rising up from  the sea surface or we can call it stone islands, it's really an  interesting  part.
2. Tourguide: 

- In the South: We felt the tour guide has experienced with indonesia tourist, that's why we found there was no problem including english and knowledge or tourist needs in the south.
 - In the Central: We have problem with tour guide's english pronounciation  and because of this, we miss things about vietnam in the central that we should understand better.
- In the North.     The tour guide in the north is very care and helpful. There no doubt with
 communication and knowledge. He can get along and have fun with us.
3. Land transfer
There is no problem with quality and manner of serving in the south, central and north.
4. Hotels:
- In Saigon, Vien Dong hotel is Ok but the  bed is not really very clean.
- In Hoian (Indochina) ----- Among all the hotels that we have been, we  like indochina the most. it's new, clean and people in the  hotel are very helpful, althought we find a little bit communication problem since of all of the people in the hotel could understand english better but it's no problem. The food in the hotel is also delicious and including the view from the hotel. We like this hotel the most.
- In Hue (Dong Da Festival) ----- Okay.
- In Hanoi (Hoa Binh). ----- okay
- In Halong (On board). ------ okay.
5. Meals
- In the South. ---- We have no problem in quality and manner of serving the meals in Saigon. We love saigon meals especially the tour guide introduce us to ngon restaurant and i think that's the best food we ever had in Saigon. Also not forgetable the meals at Mekong Delta, it's delicious as well.
- In the Central. ----- We don't really like the food in the central. We find problem to communicate with local waitress as they don't speak english fluently.
- In the North ------ The meals are fair for us.
 

CAMBODIA PORTION
1. How about the programs:
We enjoy the sightseeing in phnom and siem reap except tuol slang in phnompenh. Just for your information tuol slang is not part of our sightseeing in phnom penh which the tour guide ask whether we would like to switch the museum with tuol slang and we agreed to visit the place without study the place before.
2. Tourguide: 
The tour guide is really very care and helpful to all of us during our visit in Phnom Penh. She speaks english  fluently and has experience, good knowledge and understanding of culture, historical, etc.
Her information, suggestion and guide really help us during our visit in Phnompenh, eventhought she didn't guide us after we went back from siem reap to phnom, but her information and suggestion really has help us.
She care from we pass the immigration border till we seat on the boat is warm to all of us. In our opinion she is the best tour guide during our trip in vietnam/cambodja. 
3. Land transfer:

- In Phnom Penh ---- okay
- In Siem Reap --- okay
 4. Hotels:
 - In Phnom Penh ---- okay
- In Siem Reap ---- okay
5. Meals:

- In Phnom Penh --- okay
- In Siem Reap  ----- okay
 
As for overall our trip in vietnam and cambodja, we are happy with the  services from threeland and enjoy very much this trip.
Last but not least we would like to say thank you and especially to you  who has provide us with useful information, suggestion and continuous follow up before and after our trip.
It's nice to have this questionaire and we believe Threeland will serve  better in the future and there is no doubt for us to introduce Threeland  to  our friends.
