Threeland reference?
Hi,
Yes I am happy to. I now currently live in the UK, but I did
live in Hong Kong and had used many agencies for many trips in
Asia during my two years out there. Threeland were such lovely
people to deal with. I had found it very hard trying to book a
trip to Laos, I wanted a guide service and I found that many
agencies delayed there replies to me etc, could not arrange the
trip as I required, they wanted to sell a set tour or were too
expensive. When I finally found the Threeland agency I was so
impressed. I asked them many many questions and they always
answered every question and were very fast with their response.
They were so EFFICIENT, everything was arranged with speed, they
amended everything to how I wanted it. They also advised me
that I was fitting in a little too much into my trip, in the
end I took there advice and realised they were correct. The
price was the best I received and everything was organised and
prepared in time to a very high standard.
My trip with Threeland was to Laos &
Vietnam. The accommodation suited our needs and the guide
provided were excellent. If you have your meals included, I can
ensure you, you will never go hungry, there is plenty of nice
food to have. I had a fantastic trip and really enjoyed my
holiday. Everyone at Three lands were so friendly and helpful.
And when Cathay Pacific cancelled our flight back to HK, Three
lands did so much to help us, whereas Cathay were not so
helpful. I would highly recommend there service, from booking,
arranging trips to the guides.
On another point, I have also been to
Cambodia (Siem Reap and Phnom Penh) and I must say this is the
most memorable holiday ever. Cambodia is amazing, the temples
and the sad history of the Khmer rouge. It makes for a truly
fascinating trip. The only advice I would give is to see the
temples of Laos before Cambodia. Laos temples are much in the
style of those in Thailand and are very grand and gold and
beautiful. However those in Cambodia are so old looking (big
tree roots grown through them), beautiful stone work, they blew
me away. So I would save the best temples to last. Obviously
this is based on my opinion.
Laos visas, I would advise you get the Laos Visa before you go,
Threelands can provide this service. The Cambodian Visa you can
get at the airport without too much of a delay.
I have attached the schedule for my trip to Laos that I
requested with Threelands and the trip I booked to Cambodia
(with another agency) they may be assistance to you as to what
you wish to see. Hope this helps. Please do not hesitate to
contact me should you require further information.
Kind regards
Angie
